What we collect
Details you give us: name, email, mobile number, date of birth, city and state, interests and skills (volunteer registration); name, email, mobile number, optional address and message (donations); name, email and message (enquiries and newsletter). We also keep limited technical information such as IP address for security and spam prevention.
How we use it
To create and manage volunteer accounts, match volunteers with activities, process and acknowledge donations, respond to enquiries, send newsletters you have asked for, keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.
Payments
Donations are processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card or bank details. We keep the transaction reference, amount and status.
Children and photographs
We do not publish personal information about beneficiaries. Photographs of children are published only where appropriate permission exists, and we remove any photograph on request.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to run the website and process payments, or where the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by writing to us. Volunteers can update their profile from the dashboard.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Passwords are stored in hashed form and access to records is restricted to authorised administrators.
