Volunteer Terms

Eligibility

Volunteers must be 18 or above and provide accurate information. Men are placed automatically in Young (up to 35 years), Middle-Age (above 35 to 50 years) or Senior (above 50 years) categories from their date of birth.

Conduct

Volunteers must act respectfully, follow instructions from the organisation, and never take payment or gifts from beneficiaries.

Safeguarding

Roles involving children require screening and compliance with the Safeguarding Policy. Not all volunteers may work with children.

Applications

Applying does not guarantee selection. The organisation may approve, decline or withdraw an assignment.

Photographs

Volunteers must not photograph or share images of beneficiaries without the organisation's permission.

Suspension

The organisation may suspend a membership for breach of these terms or the Safeguarding Policy.
